Did you know? Storm drains connect directly to local creeks and rivers. OLWS wants local residents to reduce pollution in the area's natural spaces, parks and wetlands, including their own yard.

OLWS encourages choices like picking up after your pet, washing your car on the lawn with eco-friendly soap, and cleaning up leaves in the fall.

OLWS disseminates information about pollution reduction in a variety of ways - engaging our residents, business owners, teachers and students through events, presentations and activities. We also provide information electronically on our website and in paper materials like newsletters through our regular billing cycles.

Drinking Water Treatment Plant

Visit the North Clackamas County Water Commission. See first hand how we take water from the Clackamas River, clean it, and treat it so it is ready to be used in the community.
