Every Spring the District participates in the Children’s Clean Water Festival. This is a regional water education event that hosts 4th grade students from all around the Portland Metropolitan area. Students participate in classroom presentations, tour an interactive exhibit hall, and view fun educational stage shows. The event is a fresh way to expose students to water environment topics and to meet science requirements. OLWS has transportation funds available for schools within the service area.
