Starting Soon: Valley View Water Reservoir Re-coating

Two large, circular storage tanks in a green area, surrounded by trees and structures, likely used for water or another resource.
Valley View water reservoirs.

Protective re-coating protects water quality and structural durability

Our water storage tanks are the first stop for treated water as it leaves the treatment plant. From there, the water is held before being distributed to homes and businesses throughout our community.

The tanks are treated with an exterior coating that repels water and shields the structures from the elements. Over time, exposure to sun, wind, and rain can wear down this protective layer, ultimately impacting the integrity of the structure.

Tanks also receive an interior coating to prevent corrosion, rust, and structural deterioration, which extends their lifespan.

This summer, we’ll re-coat both of our Valley View storage tanks to keep them in top condition.

The result: Maintaining our water storage assets protects water quality, ensuring we can always deliver clean, safe drinking water to our customers.

Potential Project Impacts

We have carefully planned to minimize the impacts of construction. Because this work will exclusively happen at the reservoir site, no road closures are anticipated. There may be some normal construction noise during work hours.

On-site crews will communicate directly with homeowners about any direct impacts.

If you're experiencing impacts beyond what's typical for construction, please contact us directly.
