Billing FAQs
How often does OLWS bill? And when is it due?
Billing Schedule
OLWS bills monthly, with statements typically arriving the first week of the month. Billing statements are delivered by mail unless you sign up for paperless billing.
Due date
Payment is due on the 15th of each month (this date will always displayed on your billing statement).
How do I sign up to pay my bill online?
You can pay your bill online through Xpress Bill Pay. You can follow the step-by-step guide or call our team to help you get started: (503) 654-7765.
Can I turn on automatic payments to make sure I never miss a bill?
Yes, our online billing system offers an automatic payments option to make paying your bill seamless. Here's how:
- Log in: Log in at www.xpressbillpay.com.
- Select Your Bill: Locate the OLWS account you want to set up auto pay for.
- Setup Auto Pay: Navigate to the "Auto Pay" tab and select "Sign Up".
- Configure: Choose your payment method and set the schedule.
Why did my bill go up?
There are several reasons you might see your bill increase:
- Higher usage: People tend to use more water in the warmer months for things like outdoor irrigation or around major holidays when hosting guests. Switching to high-efficiency appliances and fixtures can help.
- Leaks: If you haven't been using more water around the house, but your bill has increased, it could be due to a leak. Read our tips for checking and addressing leaks.
- Rate changes: Each year in July, our new schedule of rates and fees goes into effect. If there is a rate increase that year, you may see your bill go up.
We're happy to help look into what might be causing a change in your billing costs. Call us at (503) 654-7765 or email us at billing@olws.org.
