This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving means a lot of different things to different people and we each have our own traditions surrounding the holiday. But one thing we all have in common is water, and it does a lot for us! Water plays a key role in all of our lives, making public health, firefighting, manufacturing, and life itself possible. This Thanksgiving, give thanks for water two ways:

  1. Conserve water at home by checking for leaks, installing a faucet aerator, and making sure your toilet is using water efficiently.

  2. Protect your drinking water at the source by following these 10 easy tips to keep our waterways healthy, protecting water when you garden and wash your car, and getting ready for the rainy season the water-safe way.

This Thanksgiving, give thanks for water. Remember – your dinner wouldn’t be possible without it!

Our office will be closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 for Thanksgiving, but we are always ready to respond to water service emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Call (503) 654-7765 for assistance.
