WATER RECLAMATION FACILITY TOUR:
The District offers guided tours of the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) to community, educational, and business groups. Tours can be tailored to meet the specific interest needs of the group. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your sanitary sewer service and how the District works to protect the environment and public health. If you are interested in taking a tour, please contact email@example.com.
DRINKING WATER TREATMENT FACILITY TOUR:
The District purchases drinking water for distribution from the North Clackamas County Water Commission. Created in 1999, the NCCWC is owned by the City of Gladstone, Oak Lodge Water District, and Sunrise Water Authority (Cities of Happy Valley and Damascus). The NCCWC is an independent body organized under Oregon Revised Statute 190. The Board of Commissioners for the NCCWC is composed of commissioners from each member agency appointed to represent the interests of their respective agencies. Tours of the North Clackamas County Water Commission (NCCWC) Water Treatment Plant are provided upon request.
CLACKAMAS RIVER WATERSHED TOUR:
The water for the District comes from the Clackamas River Watershed. Each year Clackamas River Water Providers offers a tour of the Clackamas watershed. The tour takes place at the beginning of October. Information about the 2018 watershed tour can be found on the Clackamas River Water Provider's website.
